Tolga Can Serbes, known by his stage name Motive, is a rising Turkish rapper and songwriter who enriches the Turkish hip-hop scene with his unique style and profound lyrics. 

Born on March 24, 2000, in Istanbul, Motive began his music career in 2018 after meeting rapper Tepki and joining the label MOB Entertainment. His first breakthrough came with the song “Çekmece Flow.” 

In 2020, Motive released his debut studio album “Makaveli,” followed by the EP “22” in 2022, which featured seven tracks and reached number 6 on Spotify’s Top 10 Charts in its release week. His second studio album, “Romantik,” was released in 2023 and received acclaim from both critics and fans. 

In January 2025, Motive presented his latest work, the album “Taycan,” with a spectacular concert performance at the VW Arena in Istanbul. The event stood out for its impressive stage design, guest appearances, and Motive’s high-energy performance. 

Motive is known for his ability to blend various musical styles while delivering authentic and thought-provoking lyrics. His music resonates with a wide audience and cements his status as one of the most promising voices in Turkish rap.
