After being founded in 2004 by Zeynep Eylül Üçer and Sinan Kaynakçı, and later joined by Akın Eldes on guitar and Cem Aksel on drums, the band released their debut album “İnandığın Masalları” (“The Tales You Believe In”). Just like their name “Pinhani,” which is derived from the Turkish word “pinhan” meaning “hidden,” they quietly made their way into the music scene and built a solid fan base over time.
Following the release of their debut album, the band gave nearly a hundred concerts and quickly attracted a significant audience. Their popularity soared even further after they began composing the soundtrack for the television series “Kavak Yelleri.”
They featured their previously released songs “Hele Bi Gel” and “Beni Al” in the show, and also introduced new tracks such as “Bir Anda” and “Ne Güzel Güldün” to listeners through the series.
Despite the growing recognition of their music thanks to the TV show, the band chose to remain selective about media appearances, preferring to maintain a low profile even when invited to television programs.
With their distinctive style and melodic structure, Pinhani stood out among other bands and set their sights on becoming one of the leading rock groups of the future. Following their first album “İnandığın Masalları,” they released their second album in April 2008.
While performing for large audiences in major cities like İzmir, Ankara, Antalya, Istanbul, and Adana, they also aimed to bring their music to every corner of Anatolia. They held concerts in cities such as Artvin, Sivas, Malatya, Erzincan, Antakya, Afyon, Samsun, Giresun, Kars, Karaman, and Kilis.
After releasing two albums in 2006 and 2008, Pinhani shared the song “Yitirmeden” (“Before Losing It”) online for free in January 2011. The music video for the song exceeded one million views on Dailymotion.com alone.
They continued sharing free tracks with “Değirmendeki” in May and “Eylül” in June of the same year.
